About Us. |
Established in 2018Our inspiration for this project came when our school went through a grade reconfiguration in 2018 from a Junior High 7-9 model to a hybrid model of Middle School 6-8 plus 9's. Our research helped to inspire the creation of a new timetable that would benefit all students. Music programs by choice stay linear while also offering music exploratory to all students in 13 week segments. All core music classes (3 Concert Bands, Concert Choir & Jazz Band are in the timetable; Two Jazz Combo's meet outside the timetable twice a week).
|
Our GoalOur goal is to provide teachers and administrators with a compilation of research supporting music at different stages in a child's development to help promote effective public music programs.
